My favourite way to brew coffee has got an upgrade. The Hario Switch V60 is the best of both brewing worlds: a clean V60 and a full-bodied french press. Unlike a regular V60, the Hario Switch lets you brew all at once: just fill it, let the coffee steep, and keep the switch closed until you’re ready. Then press the button and the coffee flows straight into your cup.

Beginner V60 Recipe
Coffee: 15g
Grind size: medium coarse
Water: 200ml filtered water at 93°C
How to brew:
Put the paper filter in the V60 and rinse it out
Add the coffee and place it over a cup or pitcher
Pour 200ml of hot water in a slow circle
Let it steep for about 3 minutes
Press the switch on the base to release the brewed coffee onto your cup
